Stacey Reed
Year 2
I am a primary educator with close to a decade of experience working across Year 1 to Year 6 in both mainstream and specialist education settings. After beginning my professional journey in interior design, I felt a strong pull towards teaching, a profession deeply rooted in my family.
Since entering education, I have developed a broad skill set in supporting diverse learners and am passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that nurture both academic and personal growth, while also building resilience and focusing on the positive. I am committed to providing high-quality education through care, consistency and genuine connection with my students. I strongly believe that when children feel safe, valued and able to be themselves, they are far more open to learning. Confidence is key. Having relocated to Australia with my family in 2024, I feel privileged to now be part of the Hannans Primary School community.
Outside of the classroom, I am a happy wife and proud mum of three teenage girls. I am desperately trying to get back into running and can often be spotted doing my best (and sweating profusely) at the Saturday Parkrun events.
I look forward to the year ahead and building strong partnerships with parents and carers to support each child’s journey.
