Shaun Needham
Year 3
My Name is Shaun Needham and I have recently joined Hannans Primary School’s middle-primary team, teaching Year 3. With a supportive and proactive approach, I’m always ready to lend a hand to colleagues and take on new challenges. I bring creativity to the classroom, finding engaging ways to help students grasp number concepts while ensuring everyone feels welcome. My teaching experience spans across WA, from the Goldfields to the Pilbara and Perth.
My journey into teaching was inspired by time with the Camp Counselors USA program, where I spent three years working with children at a Summer Camp in New Hampshire, USA. While there, I taught woodworking, hockey, archery, riflery, and AFL. Outside of school, I play hockey for the YM Hockey Club and enjoys camping, swimming, and relaxing with a good book on weekends.
