I started my education journey in 2011, I have supported students across a range of roles including Aboriginal and Islander Education Officer, Mainstream Education Assistant, and Special Needs Education Assistant. In 2025, I graduated as an Aboriginal Language Teacher, allowing me to further support students through the teaching and revitalisation of the Wangkatja language. My career has been shaped by a strong commitment and passion in educating and supporting students to succeed both academically and culturally.
I am passionate about providing high quality, inclusive education that values culture, relationships, and student wellbeing. My strengths lie in building strong connections with students and families creating safe learning environments and supporting positive identity and cultural pride. Language revitalisation is an important part of my role, and I am committed to sharing the Wangkatja language and culture in ways that are engaging for students.
In my classroom, students and parents can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where learning is culturally rich, inclusive, and respectful. Learning experiences will support students to develop language skills while deepening their understanding of Wangkatja culture. I am proud to be able to contribute to the revitalisation of the Wangkatja language and to support students on their language and cultural learning journey.
