Hello everyone, my name is Dawn Yates (Miss Yates to the students).I am delighted to be teaching Year 3 at Hannans Primary School. With training from Pre-Primary to Year 7 and a strong focus on special needs education, I have spent the past twenty years teaching in Western Australia, developing a deep understanding of both the Australian and Western Australian curriculums. As a parent of three adult children, each with unique educational strengths, I appreciate the diverse learning needs of every student. I value the individuality each child brings and strive to create a classroom environment that is safe, nurturing, and inclusive—one that fosters a sense of belonging, independence, cultural appreciation, and personal growth.
